Angeline the Baker
Part of the Tunes That Groove! class.
We chose this tune because the Main Melody in the A part consists of only 3 notes for 75% of the A Part; in fact, there are only 5 notes in total! This is an excellent opportunity to try to learn to add some rhythm to a melody and "get our Right Hand moving!"
Remember there is no single right way to play this tune. The concept is to try to add some right hand 8th notes either as part of a shuffle or 8th notes through the whole measure. Experiment and find what you like! If you need a starting point, look at how Simon likes to play the tune. But, please, feel free to make it your own.
